Pregnancy coaching is for families experiencing high-risk pregnancies and sensitive circumstances who desire specialized care and guidance.

As a doula, I specialize in supporting families with considerations such as vbac, twins, anxiety, premature labor, IVF and high-risk pregnancy.  Many of my clients have experienced previous births which were labor inductions, or ended in emergency cesarean. It’s normal to feel anxious heading into birth when you’re on bed rest or finally pregnant after infertility. As a doula, I help my clients navigate this journey. I am an advocate, a coach, and a source of emotional and informational support.

Pregnancy Coaching

Our initial prenatal visit is about discovery.  I invite you to share your experiences, expectations, and birth preferences.  

The second visit is a birth class specially designed to support your preferences and goals.  During this visit, I teach relaxation tools and coping techniques for labor and delivery.

The third visit is a fourth-trimester class. You learn about caring for yourself and your newborn during the first 42 days following birth. 

For the fourth prenatal visit, I accompany you to one of your doctor or midwife appointments.

During each prenatal visit, there are opportunities to ask questions and talk through any concerns you may have.

Labor and Delivery Support

I go on-call two weeks before your due date.  Once labor begins, I offer emotional and physical support through the first two hours following the birth.

Postpartum Care

Within two weeks of your birth, we schedule a postpartum visit.  During this visit, we chat about things related to the fourth trimester.

In addition to pregnancy coaching, I offer in-home newborn and postpartum care for the days and nights following the baby’s birth.
